Biography:  Born the 24nd of october 1969 in Sassari (Italy). Graduated in Toxicology, (110/110 e Lode) University of Sassari 

1989-1991 Fellowship from the National Research Council. Istituto Applicazioni Tecniche Chimiche Avanzate ai Problemi Agrobiologici Sassari. (Research Project: Molecular design of polysostituted Resorcinol).

1991-1993 Scholarship funded by the Research Consortium FORMEZ at CO.RI.SA Sardegna Sassari (Research Project "Characterization of marine ecosystems, coastal lagoons and assessment of environmental quality." 1994-2001 Research contract at the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale della Sardegna Dip. Igiene degli Allevamenti e Produzioni Zootecniche Sassari (Research projects: (a) "Validation of LC/MS method for Avermectins in Milk", (b) "Analysis of pesticide residues in matrices plants" (c) ”Hormones and metabolites”, (d) "Environmental Biomonitoring”). 

2002 -2014 Achieved permanent position as technician at the Biomolecular Chemistry Institute at the National Research Council



Biosample preparation methods, such as LLE (liquid-liquid extraction), SPE (solid phase extraction). Basic analytical methods: Chemical analysis; Instrumental analysis, such as HPLC, HPCE, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, UV, etc. A strong background in chromatographic method development of various biological compounds. As a technical expert regularly I use specialized analytical techniques for metabolomics, phytochemistry structural characterization, impurities identification and trouble shooting the related technical issues. Identification of peptides and small protein by LC-MS-MS. Metabolism system in vitro with rat hepatic microsomes. Drug metabolism in rat liver in situ. Drug metabolism though whole experimental animals. Rapid PK study in drug discovery and drug metabolism research.
